Direct Support Professional (DSP)

In this role, you will: • Provide daily living assistance with tasks like dressing, meal preparation, and personal hygiene. • Provide transportation to appointments and community outings. • Encourage participation in social activities and hobbies. • Help individuals develop life skills and achieve their goals. • Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes independence and dignity. Qualifications • A patient, caring, and positive attitude. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • The ability to build rapport and trust with individuals with IDD. • A willingness to learn and adapt to individual needs. • A high school diploma or equivalent. • Valid state issued driver’s license, current vehicle insurance declaration and vehicle registration. • Access to a reliable vehicle. • The ability to pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies • Must be able to provide 2 professional references.
