In this role, you will conduct comprehensive home studies by meeting families in their homes, assessing readiness, and compiling detailed reports that support court decisions and child placement outcomes. This is a flexible, project-based role ideal for professionals seeking supplemental income while making a meaningful impact on children and families. Responsibilities • Conduct SAFE home studies for foster, foster-to-adopt, kinship, and ICPC families • Meet with families in their homes to assess safety, stability, and preparedness • Gather and analyze family, environmental, and background information • Prepare detailed written reports with recommendations for court review • Ensure compliance with Volume 7 regulations and state requirements • Maintain accurate, timely documentation • Communicate professionally with families, courts, and internal teams Requirements • Bachelor’s degree (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology preferred) • Bilingual English/Spanish required • Completion of 2-day SAFE Home Study Training with active SAFE certificate • Knowledge of Volume 7 regulations related to foster, adoptive, kinship, and ICPC home studies (training provided if needed) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Compensation:Contract / Project-Based • $30/hr • Additional compensation for updates, expedited requests, or bilingual services • Flexible scheduling • Excellent part-time or supplemental income opportunity How to ApplyIf you are passionate about supporting children and families through quality home assessments and court-informed recommendations, we encourage you to apply for the SAFE Home Study Evaluator role with Clarvida.
