About the Role We’re looking for a Quality Control Sampling & Warehouse Associate to support our food safety and quality programs while helping keep our warehouse operations running efficiently. In this role, you’ll be a key part of ensuring all incoming raw materials, packaging components, and labels meet internal and regulatory standards before being released for production. What You’ll Do Quality Control & Sampling • Review incoming material documentation (Certificates of Analysis, Certificates of Manufacture). • Aseptically collect samples of raw materials, packaging, and labels. • Maintain accurate quality records to support traceability and audits. • Manage retain samples and coordinate with the QC Laboratory. • Apply release or quarantine labels based on testing and approval status. Warehouse & Material Control • Assist with proper storage, organization, and movement of materials after release. • Ensure quarantined materials are clearly identified, secured, and documented. • Support FIFO/FEFO inventory practices. • Assist with shipping and receiving activities when needed. Food Safety & Sanitation Support • Perform ATP and visual sanitation verification. • Conduct allergen residue testing to verify proper cleaning. • Clean and maintain sampling areas and tools to prevent cross-contamination. • Support sensory evaluations and quality improvement activities as assigned. Team Support • Work closely with Quality, Production, Warehousing, and Sanitation teams. • Assist with QC and warehouse projects and special assignments as needed. Qualifications What We’re Looking For • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, quality, or food manufacturing preferred. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality. • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred. • Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment. • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; MRP systems a plus. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and organizational skills. Physical Requirements • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. • Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and ladder use. • Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts. • Required use of PPE including gloves, masks, hairnets, and protective gear. Work Environment • Warehouse and production setting with variable temperatures and moderate to high noise levels. • Exposure to food ingredients, allergens, airborne particles, and odors. • Strict adherence to GMPs, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
